Analyst from Morgan Stanley says that an iPhone Mini makes good sense and perhaps will be presented this summer.
A cheaper iPhone makes perfect sense, said Kate Huberty of Morgan Stanley, after a meeting with Apple CFO Peter Oppenheimer.
For a number of reasons an iPhone Mini will be a good idea:
1) iPad Mini has given Apple 50 percent progress in China and Brazil
2) Chinese customers show great interest for iPhone 5, rather than reduced earlier models
3) sales of iPhone 4/S surprised in last quarter
The market research firm also reports that an iPhone Mini can be presented already this summer, writes our site.
Kate also that although Huberty adds an iPhone Mini will have less earning degree and kannibaliserer on other iPhone models, so it will still lead to greater revenue and profit for Apple.
Huberty added that while an iPhone Mini would have lower gross margins and cannibalize other iPhone sales, it would boost revenue and profits.
